IN MEMORIAM
Ferman Ansel
November 29, 1939 - July 9, 2010
Ferman was a very valued Insallah AHC Member.
He served as our WAHO Delegate and gave our members
access to his Arabian Horse Legacy website which has
been often described as the World's greatest library
addressing the Arabian horse breed! Members of
Insallah AHC are continuing to work to bring this
library forward to give the public access to
Ferman's fantastic work of many years.

The above picture shows Ferman interviewing one of
the Bedouins who rode this mare and with her filly
at her side approximately 100 miles to a gathering
of the WAHO attendees at a Bedouin camp out in the
Syrian Desert in 2007. The trip took this Bedouin
and his mare and young filly 3 days. They had just
arrived when this picture was taken. These Bedouins
were so very proud to show their Arabian horses to
visitors from around the world, their hospitality
was overwhelming.
This was the last WAHO conference that Ferman was
able to attend.
